Are your pieces food-safe?
Yep! Every piece is made with lead-free, food-safe glazes and fired to cone 6, meaning they’re completely safe for everyday use. If it holds your herbs, your coffee, or your secrets, rest easy—it’s designed to do so safely.
How should I clean my piece?
For pipes (Dizzy): The easiest way? Give him a bubble bath. Place Dizzy in a small sealable container with isopropyl alcohol and salt, close the lid, and shake gently. This knocks out buildup without the mess. Rinse with warm water, and he’s good as new.
For ashtrays, dishes, and jars: A quick wash with warm water and mild soap is all you need.
Avoid dramatic temperature changes. Going from super hot to super cold too fast isn’t great for ceramics, just like it isn’t great for glass.
Are ceramic pieces durable?
Absolutely. High-fired ceramics are tough, scratch-resistant, and heat-friendly. Your piece won’t cloud, warp, or wear down over time, and unlike glass, ceramic doesn’t weaken from repeated use. The glaze is smooth and sealed, so scratches and stains aren’t a problem.
Technically all pieces from Dizzy Duck Inc. are dishwasher-safe, they’re durable enough, we just don’t recommend it.
The only thing to worry about? Gravity. If you drop it, it can break—just like a favorite mug or glass piece. But treat it right, and it’ll last you a lifetime.
Will my piece look exactly like the one in the photo?
Not quite—but that’s the beauty of it. Every piece is sculpted and painted by hand, so no two are ever the same. The colors, details, and expressions will be unique to yours, making it a true original. Some people love this so much, they start collecting different versions of Dizzy, Greg, and Wallace over time.

Do you take custom orders?
Yes! If you want a custom Dizzy, Greg, Wallace, or something totally unique, I’d love to make that happen. Spots for commissions are limited, so reach out early to lock in your request. Custom colors, themes, or personal details? Let’s talk.
Do you release limited edition drops?
Yes! Throughout the year, I release small-batch artist-designed pieces in limited quantities. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Some past designs have sold out in minutes, so if you see something you love, don’t hesitate.

Where do you ship from?
All orders ship from Denver, CO.
How long does it take to ship my order?
Since every order is packed by hand, please allow 5-7 days for processing before shipment. I’m a one-person business, and I appreciate your patience while I make sure everything is packed safely.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location. Ceramics require careful packing, and I always find the most cost-effective way to get your piece to you safely. If you’re ordering multiple pieces, shipping them together will help cut costs.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet! Right now, I only ship within the United States. If you’re outside the U.S. and really want a piece, reach out and we can talk about options.
Do you accept returns?
Because each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, all sales are final. That said, if something arrives damaged, I’ll do my best to make it right—just reach out within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
What if my piece arrives broken?
I pack every order carefully, but shipping can be unpredictable. If your piece arrives damaged, email me within 48 hours with photos of the damage and the packaging. I’ll either replace it (if possible) or offer store credit. Most packages arrive safely, but in the rare case something happens, I’ve got you covered.

Take clear photos of the damaged package and its contents. Contact me@dizzyduckinc.com to initiate the return process.
Step 2: Choose replacement or refund
Replacement: We will promptly ship a replacement for the damaged item at no additional cost to you.
Refund: If you prefer, we can issue a full refund for the broken item, including shipping costs.

Please retain all original packaging materials for inspection purposes. We may request additional information to facilitate the return process. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the order.
